Seeing as we we're 1-1 having just scored an equalizer, with a man extra for the next 30 mins the momentum was with us but we couldn't get into a rhythm due to silly fouls, a ref allowing time wasting & an entire team full of attackers yet not much supply. Feel's like points lost but at least we didn't get beat after such a poor first half. Eoin Toal lead by example, fair play to the lad he's been one of our best players since coming into the team. Last season we scored lots but we were open & leaky... this season we're struggling to create chances but are a bit more solid. We just can't seem to find the balance between the two atm.

Jesus mate.

Its all about the long game. He got us out of the last one ffs.

He will get us out of this one, maybe needs more than a season or two ffs.

We are making progress.

Not like we are spending millions is it.

Fuck me.

Agree with this, we are improving but it’s slow work because we’re building organically.

Second half a lot better but can’t turn up for 45 minutes and win poor start again . Would of lost that last season though going in right direction but can’t see us going up without a good transfer window

just like fgr, Cheltenham and Shrewsbury  this season then !!!!!!!!!!

I hoped for top 2, but realistically thats not happening and realistically it probably shouldnt

Still very sure we will finish in the play offs, not least cos we have loads of depth...not many stand outs, but loads of similar quality so we will go to the last game

Others will fall away

We need a striker in January who can score goals as what we have are just not good enough .

We need some creation in midfield more than a striker imo.

Or even a number 10.

Bod is miles off, baka is too and dapo wants in off the flanks.

We need Danny Ward or Cole Stockton.

I would get both and get rid Baka and bloody Kachunga

First half as bad as it gets. Truly awful.

We concede the customary first goal.

Come out a different team and equalise.

10 men, go on and win it.

For some reason & with obvious momentum the IE bingo machine comes out.

We then lose the momentum.

One shot on target all game.

We didn’t deserve to win.

4 wins out of 13 since Cheltenham.

Its simply not good enough for the play-offs.

The only comforting thing is that we’re still in the top six despite playing so poorly recently so if Ian can come up with a couple of winners next month, there isn’t really a lot to beat in this league that are below us. We can still do it but we have to find a way to score and IE has to be realistic about what he’s got and play players in their best positions. We all know the players who aren’t doing it and they need to be replaced.

I don't think either of those is the answer

Crap substitutions again - Kachunga and Baka shouldn’t be on the bench - Charles isn’t good but the best of all four so called strikers by a country mile

I can't fathom that comment with the player I'm watching every week.  As you say, he isn't good is he.

first half was like Cheltenham away

second better but bad use of substitutions and kachunga don’t get me started

play offs will not happen and every week we’re slipping away and others are gaining

just play it simple evatt you ain’t fucking pep

Feel like I'm trying so hard to be positive with Evatt, but this is pretty much where I'm at the moment. I honestly can't see us maintaining the play-offs.

He's got a couple of tough decisions to take this month. We've improved every second half of the season under Evatt, so I hope I'm proven wrong..

Sensible and balanced response.

Folk wanted 4 points out of next 2 away games, just have to go and beat Barnsley now 😊

Two handicaps with us at moment for me: We've a surfeit of players who like to be on the ball and pass it about but too many of them want to pass responsibility on, play an easy pass and let someone else put the cross in or find the killer through ball. That last 20 mins just wasn't difficult enough for their defence, however well organised and determined they were.

We also have too many strikers that are decent team players and happy to work within the structure but aren't natural finishers. When we do eventually put a good ball into the right area they're either a yard off getting to it or fluff it when they do. Bradley's actually better than any of our strikers at appearing on six yard line and knocking one in.

We're not far off being 4th or 5th best in this league but those deficiencies and frustrating habits are just holding us back.

Not seen a thing of the match tonight but I'd have taken a point so ok with this result.

Would take the same at Barnsley too

Its not the worst result, we've had a lot worse this season, but when does a draw become unacceptable, because even if we manage a point at Barnsley that would be 7 points in 6 games and we'd all take a point v Plymouth, 8 points in 7.  Bottom 8 form, surely we want more than 1 win in 7 with this squad?

A point is unacceptable when it's shit teams at home. Not undefeated teams away and 4th in the league away
