  1. anelka had little team input, ie not chasing back or putting the defenders under pressure from the front. but if he scores on average a goal every 3 or 4 games by the end of the season i will be well chuffed.

the pass from campo was sublime for the second and his first goal was awesone.

i would prefer a better anelka song than the chanting his full name in the same way as we did for okocha.

  2. the small blue and white checks made by matchwinnewr and sponsered by reebok.

that is the my fave away shirt by a county mile.

second the dark green one with club badge on the left, reebok sponsor and white trim.

i had that shirt with taggart on the back - great days.

the current redish / maroon one is spoilt by the american RBK rather than reebok.

this text talk has gone too far.

  3. sam can have as many hot dogs as he likes. I dont see why that needs to be discussed on a messageboard.

he has always been very polite from my experience of him.

sam is a massive asset for our club.

some people should really think back to where we were 10 - 15 years ago.

without the work of bruce rioch and laterly sam we could well still be watching players of a similar ilk to tony kelly and and not nolan, stelios, davies, etc etc.

    In sam I trust.

  4. hunt is the worst first team player we have.

    local boy or not.

however, if our worst player is one with england u21 caps we should be pleased as it suggests that we have a decent team, or of course, that there are few englaish right backs to chose from.

a side point...he always seems to be playing with his right hand slightly aloft, as if always saying sorry for something.
