He'll probably play a blinder and score a hat trick now we've slagged him off not a chance tal ben haim is to good young and strong for the old folkie shearer. we are talking about ameobi mate, but never mind

do i really need to answer that? shearer has pulled us out of so many scrapes it is unbelievable, and if his record makes him a lazy red ginger, i wish we could sign a few more! god knows how shola gets a game, he is in through injuries at the moment, but bobby and souey both seemed to rate him highly, fcuk knows why! having said that, his goals to games ratio is better than davies! :D/ (ducks)

all i rememebr him saying is that he wouldnt egt involved in speculation, which is far from a refusal/turn down. i also think saying that you want th eengland job, is a different kettle of fish to admitting that you want to join another club! its irrelivent anyway as we seem to be getting o'neill, who i would personally prefer. (thats not to say i wouldnt have been dam happy with big sam though!)

Not an issue on here. We had greater concern of Sam joining Newcastle but after it became clear he was not interested, it is obvious he is now happy to stay at Bolton. There is no chance of Sam getting the England job due to numerous reasons; perceived style of play, speaks his mind, not affraid to ruffle feathers in high places, not won anything as a manager, not a quiet puppet that the FA can control etc etc Your ex-Sowerness has more of a chance i dont recall it being clear sam wasnt intersted? no qoutes or anything? just your chairman saying the usual stuff?? if england had any sense, they would appoint him, he is the best man for the job in my opinion! but i agree, they wont have th eballs, in the same way they didnt have the balls with cloughy. more fool them eh.

Why? Is Shearer still out? shearer is back, which means we wont have to play that donkey ameobi!

i think we were just extra excited because it was a semi, which probably made it better and so you should be excited having a semi seriously though, watching you lot lapping it up brought back some good memories, i loved marseille. you might be off to the nou camp and san siro if you win your games in hand eh! dont expect any points at sjp on saturday though! [-X

you could be right, i also think that the f.a may be afraid of sam speaking his mind instead of bending over for them? you lot will be well chuffed if he stays! i reckon gartside is going to have to start flashing the cash though, or he may go for th enext so called 'big job' he is offered. i would have loved him for us personally, if we didnt get o'neill

it was on the way out we were held if i remember right? did you go in the cafe marseille before hand on the marina?

whys that? who do you expect to get the england job?

it seems that we are getting o'neill as our new manager, rumours are rife that a deal has been done and the betting has been suspended with all but 2 bookies. do you think this will mean that you lose sam to england?

alright lads, geordie here, i come in peace! just to say well done last nigt, i thought you were very unlcuky against a good, experienced european side. i was there 2 years ago when they knocked us out in the semi's at the evlodrome and it is a very difficult place to go with the atmosphere and all! just to say i thought Nolan was awesome, everything you want in a captain, and his comments at the end summed up how he feels about the club. you should be very proud of him, and you really need to hold onto him, top player. did anyone on here go last night? if so, did you egt held in teh warehouse and get sly digs of the police???
