Blackpool used to have a decent mob in the 80's - They had lads travelling with them from all over the country, who had gone to Blackpool on their weekend piss ups & got pally with the locals. There are a few old threads on AVFTT about 'characters' from other clubs, who used to run with them, back in the day. Throughout the 90's & especially the 00's they've done fuck all. Nothing. They've nothing to offer nowadays, except a couple of older lads, mixed in with clueless gobby shirters & scarfers. The rest are made up of OAP's, day trippers & face painted, wig wearing bellringers. I can't wait until we get our hands on 'em again.

Depends how far you're willing to travel really mate. Most of the pubs in close proximity to the station are shit, but if you turn left at the lights instead of heading down the highstreet, and head down towards Staples (they sell office shit), you'll find a few decent boozers round there. There's a weatherspoons & a few decent little traditional type pubs on that stretch of road. The area's called Friargate. It's only a 10min walk from the station. (15min if you're a fat cunt )
