For my sins I often pop into see the opposition and, when I do, I often think we're off the pace - musically speaking! Examples are: Liverpool sing " Maxi -Maxi Rodriguez goes down the wing for me" to the tune of heartbeat and Spurs sing "na na na na na na na na na na Rafael Van Der Vart - Rafael Van Der Vart" to K C and the Sunshine Band's "Baby Give It Up" These are in a different league to "come on you whites" "oh wanky wanky" etc. I remember the launch of "here we are - super whites" back in the 70s which was unbelievably naff... Are we northern monkeys doomed to produce bland boring dittys - or are there a few musically minded folk out there who can dream up a few examples to make us proud to be Wanderers.?
