My old pc finally met with a lump hammer last week ..(motherboard went ) i have been given a computer off a friend..i had a re-store done on it and basically it's a sack of sh*te...I'm wondering based on the spec that i'm about to post whether to get the lump hammer out again or whether to anything can be done to speed it up ?? :angry:

It will work. very very slowly.

 

Extra RAM would help (SP3 kills machines with a gig or less), but its good money after bad.

 

You should be fine for email & browsing, but anything above that, forget it.

It's struggling to browse properly to be quite honest .. i may ask about extra ram though... Thanks anyway :good:
