So Torres, Anelka, Drogba, Malouda, Kalou, Uncle Tom Cobley, the big new signing (what, you mean there won't be one ??) ............ all but 1 or 2 of them will be on the bench while Sturridge plays regularly ?

Yet some of those six will get a lot less game time than the main 4 or 5.

And if Uncle Tom Cobley comes through from the Youth, and/or a new signing comes in, Sturridge is down in 7th place or so.
