Top Top Day At Work

I just had the greatest time at work today.....

My boss is spot on to me, has helped me no end over the past year but being a Fifer is as tight as fuck.

I am having to go and work away for a month or so (maybe more) at a site near Workington and It's at least an hours drive each way.

I get paid travelling time and get transport provided since I live a 5 minute walk away from normal workplace.

The company has a massive shortage of vans just now, mechanical problems due to him being a tight cunt and not maintaining them is the main thing causing it... so he said i'd have to take my own car to another lads house who was travelling to the same site under my own expense (it's only 10 miles, but in wrong direction). It meant me leaving home 20 mins earlier at 5.45 and getting home half an hour later at 6.30ish (depending on traffic) I wasn't happy about it really... and told him so, but his mind was made up.

I was at work this morning and the director in charge of whole site came in (bosses boss) and I get on ok with him, he persuaded me to stay when I was offered a job elsewhere a few months ago. He asked how things were with me and I didn't really complain, just told him the score with me doing them a favour and having to use my own car to do it... he said "leave it with me"

This afternoon my boss called me to say I would be given transport to travel to Workington with and it would be dropped off later on.. Sure enough it was. A 60 plate Audi A4 Estate that had been a company car for a manager who left a couple of weeks ago and is mine to use until I return to my normal workplace. My boss drives a 58 plate Audi A3. He was livid.

I love it!!

Just watch out you don't get lumbered with company car tax. Either park it at your normal place of work ovenight or make sure that anybody that matters doesn't think it is being used for any personal use.

nice one jazza, im glad you've had some good fortune!
