Kevin Nolan is ready to commit his long-term future to Bolton by signing a new four-year contract.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been at the club for the last seven years after coming through their youth set-up and will put pen to paper in the next few days.
The news that Nolan will be staying until 2008 was announced on Sunday in the build-up to the Premiership match against Newcastle.
He said: "We have continually made progress. I am happy to be part of this and look forward to the next four years."
