  1. Mods Could you please leave this tread in this forum as it is our most read tab. This is not spam and you could confirm with our other Wanderers who are from Leeds Thankyou very much. Folks You may have heard that as a result of the NHS's review of paediatric heart surgery provision across the country, the Children's Heart Surgery Unit at the Yorkshire Heart Centre in Leeds is at risk of closure. The unit provides specialist surgery and care to children from all over . If it closed, hundreds of children who require life-saving surgery each year would have to travel long distances, possibly hundreds of miles to another facility. This could put their lives in greater jeopardy. There is a petition to try and save this important unit which I have put a link to below. Just click on Save Our Unit and then Save Our Heart Surgery Unit. Please Please sign the petition and could any of our visitors from other Yorkshire & Humber, Lancashire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire clubs put it on their boards and ask their forum folk to sign it as well. http://www.chsf.org.uk/
  2. If we cant beat them with the following players out we dont deserve to be in the semi finals. Lee Bowyer, David Bentley, Keith Fahey, Liam Ridgewell, Craig Gardner and Nikola Zigic are all rated doubtful. Captain Stephen Carr, Alexander Hleb, plus long-term casualties Scott Dann and James McFadden, are definitely ruled out.
  3. Got to win this one so im going to go 1-0 to the Wanderers. I have a good feeling about this year beat Brum then play Reading when the beat City then 2-1 v Utd in final. Well that how it when I my dreams anyway.
  4. R.I.P TO THE 33 WHO LOST THEIR LIFES SUPPORTING THE WANDERERS. IT REALLY IS A SHAME THAT THE MEDIA DONT DO ANYTHING TO REMEMBER OR HONOR THE 33. BUT THEN AGAIN WE ARE NOT LIVERPOOL ARE WE. R.I.P AND LOVE TO THE FAMILY'S WHO LOST LOVED ONES. Michael Ullmann
  5. Hi chief yeah all nice areas but Chapel Allerton questionable some nice areas but the back to back areas abit of a dump. I have never been to Walkden but it must be really bad if you like living in Leeds, But then again I am from Leeds and lived since birth and I find people tend to dislike where they are from. Like the night life (I dont drink now) but when I did I would get people from places like Newcastle and Midlands saying how good the night life is in Leeds but when thats all you know you have different opinion to others.
  6. Cheers. Very nice area of Leeds there, Very good if you like getting mugged. Thb honest mate Leeds as a whole is a bit of a dump aint it.
  7. No mate it was on vicar lane opposite the market near Greggs, It was years ago, as i remember the fella must of been around 50y/o and kind of losing hair and would say he was around 6foot and slim build.
  8. Yeadon, Farsely Cookridge and Horsforth all scattered with Wanderers. I have only ever been stopped twice by wanderers fans in Leeds (I always wear my Wanderers jackets) once in the royal armories by a woman from Bolton and once shopping in town by a fella who seemed a nutter he was well over the moon the see another Wanderer in Leeds.
  9. I was brought up in Leeds and family tried getting me to be a Leeds supporter they used to take me to watch Leeds but I was never interested in them, My Great Grandma was from Bolton and I always looked for the results and my love for the Wanderers grew from there really. And TBH Leeds fans are wankers and I should know I have been around them for 30 years, When I was young and at school the Leeds fans would wind me up saying your team are shit and playing in the lower divisions, Ha ha ha how times have changed. Even though they have been playing league 1 and championship for years now now still believe they are a cut above the rest. Leeds fans = deluded twats. Does that answer you question mate.
  10. Who would you swap them for?
  11. I far from think we are great, I am aware that we are a average premiership team
  12. Cheers mate, Im a cunt for having my own opinion. IMO Newcastle are a piss poor team, I ask you which player would you swap like for like in their team for ours? Enrique for Robinson. Oh sorry Ben Arfa for Petrov or Taylor And like I say any established premiership team should be beating teams who come up from the championship, I know upsets happen but seriously we should be beating teams like Newcastle and Blackpool (on our own patch)and W.B.A all games we have drawn, 5 games against teams who have come up and 9 points out of 15.
  13. Good to know there are more Wanderers fans in Leeds, I only know another 3 thats my brother who is younger than me 18 on of my cousins by marrage and a lad who lives near me, Oh 4 a tutor at college got talking to him when i did plastering.
  14. End of the day we should be beating any team that comes up to the premiership and defo should be beating a poor newcastle team home or away
  15. My English aint too good im from Yorkshire mate
