If we were 2 down after 25 away from home the opposition would get it forward quickly play with tempo and test us, we do exactly the opposite. Not good enough… and it’s on a regular basis.

Is that not what Northampton did?

We seemed to sit back in second half, but they defo improved.

According to twitter we've been offered Shoretire but turned it down due to the fee

I would take him if it's around £50k but definitely not any more than that

I woudnt have him serving in the kiosks

If we don't sign anyone in this transfer window, it will be a helluva gamble and a massive show of faith in the current squad.

Having stated that the objective for this season is promotion IE must surely realise that we can't afford to slip to 20 points behind the leaders and risk the lottery of the playoffs or fail to take points off the other contenders as we did last season.

We've already dropped home points against Wigan - and Derby will be another big test so these players have really got to step up now, especially in the big games and against hard pressing teams.

I wonder if the players are listening to their own hype because we've been sloppy in chunks of every game we've played and we are nowhere near ruthless and efficient enough to be odds on to win enough points. At this stage I wouldn't say we're one of the top two teams in this league despite the hype about the division being weaker this year - looking at the signings made by other clubs there are a number of teams who have the early potential to finish higher than us - anyone in the current top half plus Barnsley and Wigan could be contenders. And we can't afford to take the foot off the gas when playing less fancied teams like Burton and pissing away points like we did last year.

The squad is OK but they have to be absolutely on their best game from the first minute of every match, take nothing for granted, scrap for everything, handle the pressure better - and hope we keep the injury list down.

It's good that Evatt backs his players, but personally I reckon we're still a couple of quality signings light if we're going for the automatics. I hope and pray they'll have proven me wrong come the end of the season.

I assumed we HAD signed numerous keepers, wing backs, forwards, midfielders. Or did I miss something?

Until we see how the management/players bounce back from last weekend, there's a grave danger of many Bolton 'fans' massively over-reacting to one game.

Agree with this. But, we were very dog shit against Wigan. No bottle whatsoever, and that's something that's unforgivable.

    Also Maghoma looks average...

Don’t think Dion will be going to Stoke they have signed a striker today.

Until Charles learns to keep his gob shut he won't go anywhere higher than league 1. Shithousery is great when your watching but he's yellow card prone as fuck, the reason we didn't beat Fleetwood by more, and maybe why we were toothless against Wigan.

  6. Utter utter utter utter spinless, dogshit, heartless, prideless, powderpuff, wankers.

    No excuses whatsoever.

In the words of Edwin Collins " rip it up and start again".

  7. Squad rotation is pivotal to our success. This 2023 not 1982.

Players are now athletes. Monitored on everything. No three pints after match and rub down with dog oil.

we have moved on in a positive way and some fans can’t accept it.

Loyalty is rare in life and even rarer in football.

He’s been on the “journey” from Day One.

    Well done GT.

    Fully deserved improved contract.

I honestly believe he’s better than most do too.

    Lets wait and see anyway.

Tic" season is usually between March and october but it may last longer. This is because wet weather and warmer temperatures make "tics" active for longer in the year and pie production increases due to humidity, however the quality of said pies will always be poor, hence the slurred and retarded sound made by "tics" when they try to speak. However, "tics" are something that we should think about all year round, as their delusional capacities enable them to see around corners and believe in fairies 🧚‍♂️.  They are expected to peak in 2023 around August 30th, then fade completely until 2024.

The Iles BN article suggesting we're waiting to see how things pan out for a number of players in the Premiership and Championship is at least encouraging inasmuch that we're looking for quality. Whether we get it or not is another story but it implies we're ambitious.

    Is where we are at

    and I’m happy with it
