  1. Good point. But I live in Bradford, which is now known as Little India...
  2. Reight... I've changed it.
  3. My apologies, then. I'll try and rectify the error.
  4. Is it not? My apologies if that's the case.
  5. http://tarnreview.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/bolton-wanderers-preview.html Thanks to those who helped out. Andy.
  6. Likes to cut in and shoot as much as possible. 50/50 where the ball ends up. Decent pace for a big lad, and decent if somewhat awkward technique when running with the ball. Can't head or trap a ball for toffee. Has probably the worst first touch I've seen at Oakwell for years, emphasised further now we have Harewood and Scotland, who may be getting on in age, but have wonderful technical skills. I was really impressed with Craig last season, in his debut year at this level. With Butterfield and Vaz Te they proved a lethal trio. But once we lost those two Craig looked average, and other than the occasional long distance effort he was largely forgettable. This season, he set off well, hit another purple patch goals-wise. Mellis slipped into Butterfield's shoes ably, and Craig profited. However, once we lost Mellis to injury Craig reverted to the average again, and before joining you lot we were sick of him. Our manager reckons his heart wasn't in it once the offers were coming into his agent. Our strikeforce has improved massively since he left. Dagnall has come alive, and O'Grady, Harewood and Scotland are as dangerous as Davies. If he's doing well for you lot, then we've both come out of the deal as winners. I don't think there's any bad feeling towards the lad, there may be the odd boo at the weekend but you'll always find the odd moron. I wish him well, and thank him for some stunning goals during his spell with us - the winner at Peterbrough, the 4 at Birmingham and the one against Leeds will live long in the memory... well, for a year or two anyway. He really needs to sort those teeth out, though...
  7. It will be pay on the day.
  8. Oh, and if the two chancers (in my avatar photo thing) are playing on Saturday you'll have a field day.
  9. Thanks for the response. Unfortunately (or not) I don't live in Barnsley these days as I left to further my chances of employment and finding a good looking woman... But seriously, thanks to those who gave me their thoughts ahead of the weekend. I'll be back tomorrow (at a push) when the preview is uploaded. Good victory last night, btw.
  10. Just to say, you could drink pretty much anywhere in Barnsley town centre. We're a friendly bunch and we're not exactly rivals are we? I'd suggest a little pub just down from the town hall called 'The Old No7' which serves quality ale, cheap, and is a proper 'visitors' pub. Or, just further down is a Weatherspoons (Brahmas), or over the road is the Walkabout (but they have shit staff and you're waiting 10 minutes to get served, even if it's quiet). Enjoy your day out. Andy.
  11. Heyup I do a Barnsley FC blog, and occasionally I preview our upcoming games. In these previews, among other things included I like to get the opposing perspective, and so that's why I am here, to do just that. If some of you could answer the following questions for me I'd be very grateful and will include as many given answers in the blog post once completed. (1) How has the season gone for you? (2) What do you think to Freedman? Right man? (3) Who are the players we need to be wary of? (4) You had Jacob Butterfield on loan at one point, and now you've got Craig Davies - your thoughts on either? (5) What are your thoughts on us? (6) Who do you see as our key player(s)? (7) Are you coming to Oakwell this weekend, and what result are you predicting/expecting? I will be back before the weekend once the preview is done and uploaded, and will post you the link so you can see what you think. Thanks for your time, Andy.
