  1. Our lot gutted, but well done your kids - showed a lot of heart (and got stuck in). Good luck for the rest of the season.
  2. Youngsters doing you proud so far (although we've been borderline awful)
  3. We (Coventry) would have shifted quite a few more, given time, but the train prices for late bookings have stopped a fair few, plus the odd one or two who are consigned to their garden sheds (like Mick Brown nearly was), Should be an emotional atmosphere. Sure there will be a few anti EFL, Bassini songs going!
  4. Correct - the one in the glasses is my brother, Sean
  5. Some are boycotting - but not like last time we had to move. For whatever reason our away support has increased over the years - even more than when we were in the PL. very strange !
  6. We've sold close to 1500 so far - according to the dot counters our end - hopefully they'll release some more if we sell out the original allocation?
  7. If it makes you feel better, I bought 6 tickets for a mate at The Checkatrade final a couple of years ago, then discovered I'd clicked down a column, not a row, so nobody was sat together (they all had cricked necks by the end of the game, chatting to each other! Wasn't very popular!!)
  8. Just undo the belt from your trousers! (only joking mate - banter!)
  9. So glad this has got the go ahead. I hope there are a few wanted posters about with a picture of Bassini on. I know you lot will know what he looks like, but just in case he tries to hide in with the Cov fans! A bit of a ticket frenzy going on down here; hope we can still bring a fair few, given the timescales. Knowing our fans I'll be surprised if it's under a 1,000, but hopefully more will make the effort to help boost the £££s
  10. At school I had to study 'Waiting for Godot' Finally, I get it !
  11. It is odd - 24 hours (give or take) since 'we'll update you in the morning' Then not to have posted anything is really cutting things fine. If they have (assuming they haven't already) any problems with the website, they are going to end up in a right mess. Let's hope it is somehow all plain sailing. I want as many Cov fans there as possible (if only to help your lot with the finances). It will also help with the atmosphere if there is a decent away following. Are you expecting a 'positive' atmosphere amongst the home support? As some have said on here, it will be a bit odd sitting next to different people (the same happened with us at Birmingham's stadium last Saturday, but it was strangely positive). Anyway, said it before - good luck, and hope you get some positive news asap.
  12. But who'll clear his shed out? (seriously - go to the footie!)
  13. Just came on here to see what the (latest) delay was all about. A lot of Cov fans had to register on your club website to be able to buy tickets today at 9am (along with all you guys) Hopefully we'll bring 1900 (plus more if it's allowed) as you need all the cash you can to get restarted. Good luck with it all and hope this is just a glitch rather than anything worse.

  15. Cov fan in peace Really sad state of affairs for your club (and ours) The EFL have a lot to answer for. Be surprised if we don't bring 3,000 to your place, although it would have been more likely if the ticket situation was clearer. Good luck for the season, and really hope you can steady the ship asap. There are a lot of average sides in the division, so the 12 point issue (if it stays at that?) isn''t insurmountable. P.S. This is one of the better laid out forum's I've seen (try Luton's if you want a good laugh!)
