The silent assassin mate, during his early years with us we were just plodding along lower mid table side with very little ambition. Lee was the outstanding performer in a very average bunch. Since Chansiri took over in 2014 and we started spending money it was the likes of Forestieri, Hooper, Bannan et al that would get all the media attention but Lee was an ever present in that side but was only really fully recognised by those watching our games week in week out. The only pundit who gave him the praise he deserved was Keith Andrews, who always lauded him as our key player

He played a good chunk of games for us last season, but just couldn’t cover the distance he did pre surgery which was to be expected. He was in the top 3 players in the championship for distance covered in 2015/16/17, something daft like 12k per game. Just didn’t look nearly as fit post surgery but fingers crossed he can still do a job. If he can you’ve got the best player in the league by a country mile

Swfc fan here, K Lee is an immense singing for you. I’m very surprised that he’s dropped down to league 2 as he is still very much championship quality. He’s been a brilliant player for us predominantly playing as a box to box midfielder. Very calm and composed in possession, excellent reader of the game and pops up with goals too. He suffered a hip injury in 2017, at the time we were 4th in the league and Carlos Carvalhal played him through it to get us over the line for the playoffs. Since then he had to undergo surgery on it and was out for around a year. Since coming back from it he was in and out of the team and never was really the same. I think I’m in the majority of Wednesday fans when I say he’s one of my favorite players for us of the last 30 years. I couldn’t get my head around why he wasn’t playing in the PL. Oozes class and a top professional Good luck to him and you guys
