Thanks all for kind comments, the stadium is our identity its a great location by the station with loads of pubs (albeit shite ones you'd not normally touch outside a matchday but about £2.80 a pint) plans to raise capacity to 22k for us in place, we've a genuine opportunity to build our fanbase further off the back of nights like last night, if youre the neutral or floating fan if you dont come back after that game then they never will In typical banter club we can be was fearing worst after 5 mins on national TV but thankfully for us anyway we showed a lot of fucking desire and spirit Think the average football fan is getting disnefranchised from the premier league crap and the way its been sanitised and people are erring towards a more watchable product with it in its purest form minus all the VAR shite so a real opportunity for clubs to attract a lasting increase in fans that we as a club and yourselves to an extent have to get right

Stockport fan back in peace rather than to gloat Had a read through comments on here and generally some positive comments about us, met young lad who does the VLOG is thogden and said i thought we would get beat in extra time pre-match, he's a credit to your club In end have to say i thought we were worthy winners and if we had lost would be bemoaning beating ourselves by defending like utter bell ends, but we look a threat every time we go forward now, a far cry away from the turgid dross we produced prior to Challinor arrival Our players left every ounce of energy and sinew out on the pitch yesterday and generally wanted it more was shouting at our players by tunnel at HT that if we cut out the daft defending we would win and it was only our shite defending that made it the contest it was, it was our shite defnding that made it the game it was You guys defo lack presence upfront and in midfield by sounds of it Williams is a big miss for you FOr us its all about instilling belief and gauging where we are at and can mix it with higher division teams, we are evidently better than our league position suggests so youd hope that will transfer into our league form otherwise its all for nowt Intensity of our play was impressive, thought pitch invasion was over zealous on our part and seemed CHallinor had some choice words for them which is fair, though i can understand our fans reaction considering the utter drivel weve endured last 10 years, he a man with exacting standards and if club gets where it hopes to be should be holding our own in games and hoping for battles with clubs like yourselves every week as the norm Enjoyed the two games naturally from my perspective, best of luck for rest of season

Well its almost sold out only about 200 tickets left in home end
-
Maybe, maybe not but we should be a better side than we are showing aswell we gifted 2 goals sunday as much as you gifted us the 1st, who knows, im not that bothered really, getting back in EFL remains the biggest priority and goal, we did enough to galvanise fans and players sunday which is more important than the result moving forward
-
Yep but you'll get around 2k tickets which you should sell or at least go close to and i can see us selling 6k at least even with it being midweek and televised
-
Yes i know Kingy well, drove me a to a few away days over the years
-
No worries, Yours Sincerely, The Stockport County Ticket Marketing Department
-
No i'd risk not going into the office instead and pull a sickie and go on the piss instead
-
I'd imagine looking at 8-9k if you guys sell your allocation, cheap ticket prices again and easily doable after work, i'll take the last midweek game we had against you guys at Edgeley Park when we blew a 3-0 lead only to nick 4-3 win in injury time again Garbage draw for the winners though at f***in Rotherham though

Good atmosphere in there for what really isn't a football type pub, there was a poor unsuspecting family celbrating a birthday having a meal, i'd imagine blissfully unaware of a football match on that day, what could have been seen as bit of intimidating atmosphere for them turned into a great day for them when took it upon ourselves to sing them happy birthday, and they soon realised mood wasnt all bad and were lapping it up!

Haha not quite more necessary precautions to avoid that situation occuring Tbf having travelled to about 130 different grounds watching County (a sign of our rapid decline through the divisions considering only 35 years old) i could write a book on my away day stories, from this latest episode to falling in an allotment at Blyth Spartans, getting reported missing to the police in Milton Keynes, 2 trips to Staines Town in 3 days to watch us be dumped out on pens The list is endless really and I wouldnt change it for the world! All part of the character building

Tbf i dont think my bowels agree with FA Cup days, similar happened 4 years ago when we blew a 3-0 Half time lead against FC Utd and it finished 3-3, we then lost replay 1-0 playing against 9 men for 70 mins and also conceding while they were down to 9 too, i'd long since left with kecks round my ankles in Moston Park having an absolute nightmare trying to avoid rustling leaves too much to attract the attention of the close by unsuspecting dog walkers Somehow felt like i got the best end of the deal that night though not having to witness much of the game, this somehow contrived to be worse! Thought you guys lacked a bit of a presence upfront for most part to bring best out of Doyle, and was surprised Alex Baptiste was even playing still never mind in League One he was dreadful I thought You're a team not too disimilar to ourselves in coming out the other side of a dismal period and financial ruin except ours seems to have been a little more elongated! Sure you will comfortably finish mid table this year which may not be what want or expect, but should give you foundations to press on for Championship in next couple years and you'll be a stronger club for it We've been out the league for good 10 years now and pulling better crowds now than whence we left it, if we can reach EFL again in next couple years, along with all plans to redevelop our stadium etc we will be in much better position to ensure our predicament doesnt happen again, our infrastructure off the pitch is way beyond level we are at, but National League is an absolute nightmare of a division to escape and missed huge opportunity to do so last year, sure if we can escape we will quickly get promoted again and our paths may cross soon enough, our chairman has an ambitious plan for Championship in 7 years, we just need to be smarter in how we spend our dosh cos weve chucked long contracts and cash around with no real structure and a bonkers managerial appointment in replacing a club legend has set us back Yesterday is hopefully start of pressing on with our ambition with players and fans united again Keep the faith

Stockport fan in peace, good game yesterday both sides taking opportunities to shoot themselves in the foot our first being a gift, your 1st Hogan giving ball away after receiving it in acres but you ruthlessly punished us for it, the 2nd our keeper Ross has a mare should hold initial tame shot or at least push it wide or out for a corner and then should save the rebound but more than a hint of offside about it I'd say our 2nd was just about the pick of goals with least reason to find fault for, we dont really need the money but a replay is nice and it was more for us about giving hope of better things to come given our outlay we were utterly garbage under our previous manager and in reckon we did that and good to have fans and players all pulling in same direction again which wasnt happening after Gannon's departure There were moments where the difference in divisions showed but not enough from your point of view and thought we were good value all in all for the replay plus weve never lost at Reebok/Macron/Unibol whatever its called now! Dapo Adolayafan was the best player on pitch by a mile Finally thanks for the warm applause in the 18th min for George Thompson i know his family appreciated it and was emotional for them Be nice to get a good incentive in draw for either side get a good incentive to potentially earn 3rd round place I'd imagine replay be on TV only game i could see threatening that is solihull vs wigwam, am sure Mark Stott will reciprocate the favour with cheap ticket prices for the replay too and you'll get the uncovered railway end and 2 blocks of the popside which im sure wont have much trouble selling as there be no daft ,membership schemes! Ive only just got back from Bolton after becoming ill with i think food poisoning from dodgy kebab night before so missed minibus home and booked into Beehive Premier Inn for the night to essentially just s**t for hours in it, which was an unexpected end to a decent day out! Good luck for rest of season (replay excepted) and hope we join you guys back in EFL in not too distant future
