How does this one work?? Lee Trundle gets sent off while playing for Swansea against Rochdale in an ENGLISH league match. A double footed challenge gets a straight red card and a certain 3 match ban. Swansea appeal to the WELSH FA and they deem his sending off in the match was enough punishment so doesn't need to serve the 3 match ban. They have accepted the offence deserved a red card and have not overturned it.

Trundle successful in card appeal

A Football Association of Wales hearing has deemed that the red card received by Swansea striker Lee Trundle against Rochdale was sufficient punishment.

 

That means he has avoided a three-match ban and is available for Northampton.

 

Trundle, Swansea's leading scorer this season, was dismissed for a two-footed tackle on Jamie Clarke last Saturday.

 

After viewing video evidence, the FAW has also rescinded the yellow card given to Trundle against Leyton Orient on 12 February for an alleged dive.

That means he has avoided a three-match ban and is available for Northampton
