England Team!

Featured Replies

Anyone think that actually we do have one of the best XI in the world now? Surely with this team we have to achieve something soon.

Lamps and Gerrard must be the best center midfield pairing in the world. Terry and Carragher coming through strong as hell. Remember when it was donkey Heskey and Owen? No probs there now that Rooney's come through.

Probs? missing world class Gk?, Owen's future, Left side problem (joe "baby" cole?)!, Beckhams penalty taking and missing Energy Role!

For once I don't think the England squad is over-rated!

individuals are fine, but as a team were pretty damn poor UNLESS the goin gets tough where we turn into scotland and decide that being resiliant and fighting for the cause is good enough to make us compete the best in the world..

england, pah, i rather go watching chorley magpies...

Think it's the best England team of my lifetime.

Can't help thinking though that technically and fitness wise we're not quite good enough come the major tournaments.

Portugal in Euro 2004 comes to mind and the friendly against Spain - we were shit - which was overshadowed my different events.

We're good, but our manager is too busy chasing women. I hope we win the WC, but I seriously doubt it.

Lets see if Sven sticks with Rio and Sol at centre-back [-X
