HomerJay Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 righto casino has just bought his first season ticket for his kids (one between em, mind) for the princely sum of 21 english pounds even the moaners on here can't find fault with that well done bwfc My first ever season ticket cost ??1.1.0 and was for the railway embankment or if wet the Great lever end. And we were watching Tommy Banks, Roy Hartle, Malcolm Barrass, Willie Moir, Nat Lofthouse and Bobby Langton. not have the feintest idea what ??1.1.0 is me feel nice and young again!
johnnyonone Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 its still exspensive .especialy paying on the day, ??15 north /south lower tear. 24 east/west lower tear ??30 all upper tears thats about reasonable but that wont ever happen. fa cup /carling cup all games should be a ??1o for adults and a ??5 for kids and oaps I fully support what you are saying, but for bwfc to charge the prices you have quoted they would have to greatly reduce the price of season tickets, and we all know a price freeze is the best we are going to get this season unless the fans vote with there feet and don`t renew s/t`s. Another option if you can`t afford to get a s/t is surely to join the membership scheme, if bwfc freeze match day prices then, for example, it would cost you ??21 per match + ??30 joining fee =??429 for the season, attending every home p/l game in the north/south lower. a full price adult s/t in the north lower will cost you ??433 next season. thats a saving of ??4 over the season(wow) not much i hear you say, but reading all the comments on here over the last week, about the price and sky t.v, then this is a good option to keep supporting your team. If a game is a saturday 5.15ko and it don`t suit then you don`t have to go. Another reason is you wouldn`t have the layout of ??400-??500+ by the 20th may early discount period, if you cannot afford it, you can`t afford it, simple, For bwfc to ask for season ticket renewals so early is a joke, 2 weeks after the current season finishes!!!! just look at our crowds this season, tells you straight away that people cannot afford to attend every game, not to mention the numerous cup games. Bwfc also need to look at the category match day prices A+ etc, they are in effect charging wanderers fans more to watch the away team, when they want to come and support the whites, not many casual fans will pay ??39 anyday to watch bwfc, just because a BIG team(MAN CITY SPRINGS TO MIND FFS!!!!) is coming to town, and if it is shown on sky then they have no chance of a full stadium. I am trying to renew my s/t but no chance by 20th may, so might be a membership for me depending on the price of matchday tickets. COME ON BWFC- SORT THIS MESS OUT, YOUR STOPPING A LOT OF FANS FROM ATTENDING WITH YOUR PRICING POLICY.
