It was on their site, same as giving away a free shirt which they did once upon a time.

Check out the news archive on the official site. It was close to the end of October, and the headline was 'Have Christmas on Us'.

 

I didn't see any mention of this ??40 voucher in any of MBNA's smallprint, but Gareth Moores said 'we are delighted to be able to offer a free ??40 voucher...'!!!
