Tony Kelly

Reading Andy Grays autobiogrophy at work as we speak and thought i would share this clip with you as it gave me a chuckle

Andy Gray had just moved to WBA and quoted this:-

"We had Tony Kelly too. Tony was a Liverpudlian. He was an excellent midfield player, bundles of skill, wonderfull passer, but ate too much, drank too much, caried a lot of extra weight and couldnt get around the pitch as he should have. So he didnt have a great attitude and he was also another out and out nutter."

On a trip to Portugal Tony Kelly recieved a smack from one of the other players so responded by hitting him across the head with a bottle, i later ended up knocking Tony unconscious when i found him in a nightclub peeing onto a potted plant.

Get some work done you lazy chuff :D

Tony Kelly / Jason McAteer, classic midfield partnership.

Tony:- Go run for that Macca

Jason:- Do one la

Tony:- You know I have to save myself for dead balls

Jason:- Its always me doin the running

Tony:- Do it if you know whats good for you

Jason:- Oh alright then

He could stand in the centre circle and spread passes anywhere on the pitch. A bit like Campo likes to think he can do.
