Three away defeats to teams we would consider of similar ilk or poorer. Just one clean sheet against a poor Reading. Not yet played any of the so called better teams, I begin to question has LSL tried to change things too soon and too quickly. The guy holds enormous respect as a coach, I hope he sorts it quickly.

This club takes it's fans for granted and has done for the last 10 years. If the worst possible scenario occurs, how many season tickets at grossly inflated prices, will Gartside manage to flog next season.

And where have you been since the day it became obvious Laughable Sammy Lee would get the top job? Because that was the point I began to worry about this season, five months later seems like you've been asleep at the wheel there Trot?

rubbish today...second best to an average blues, i dont remember their keeper touching the ball

same midfield again all over the place

knocked out uefa/defeat at derby could be the end for lee....good few fans shouting against him today

It was an incredible management appointment. To a man everyone seemed to know it was doomed to failure except of course Gartside.

We have lost 5 out of 6. Brum, Pompey, Fulham have only won 4 game between them and 3 of them were against us. We havent played anybody of note yet and we are 2 off bottom.

Today was awful - even Lee admitted the same, so it must have been bad. He is so obviously uncomfortable in front of a camera, how can he install any motivation into a team of millionaires?

Mcann, Speed and Nolan must be the most static midfield in the Prem. How the hell can any of them support Anelka? Merson (Sky Sports) quipped that even Pele wouldnt get a touch for Bolton there is so much space between midfield and attack.

We are in for a long hard winter. If he is not replaced immediately (or within the next month) we will finish in bottom 5 and i really do fear that we will go down.

Once your down there confidence goes and everything else follows.

Who supports what Lee is trying to do because i'm not sure he even knows what that is.

...... .. i'm not sure [Lee] even knows what [he's trying to do].

Now that's exactly what scares me !!

Almost as laughable as us appointing Neil Warnock to take over.

You almost had me there. The first few lines of this post suggest you were at the game, but give it away when you mentioned Paul Merson. Amazing how many posters are basing their opinions on his drug and drink fuelled ramblings.

However, having been to the game, I have to admit we were poor. I thought we were more solid than in our previous 5 games, but we were hopeless going forward except for Diouf who tried to spark the attacking part of the team into life.

I wouldn't say the team seemed particularly de-motivated, and although we need a new manager, it won't be easy now for whoever comes in. The damage was done in the transfer window, when we replaced our strong defensive athletic players i.e. Faye and Ben Haim with weaker slower versions in O'Brien and Cid. In addition Sammy Lee appears to believe that passing is the most important thing in winning a game, so strong physical players like Davies have been sacrificed for the beautiful game (although where Nolan fits into the passing game beats me). Now we are vulnerable to any hopeful crosses into our box, any set pieces whilst any team that can defend deep and mark Anelka will limit us to few scoring chances.

Almost as laughable as us appointing Neil Warnock to take over.
Listen you ragging fuckwit. Over two forums you have persisted in spouting this into every thread I make a comment on. Possibly at least 15 times now. My personal favourite when Laughable got the job was Billy Davies. Now I would toss a coin between Jewell and Burley, because I very much doubt Strachan or McLeish would take it. But I'd certainly have Warnock every day and twice on Sunday before that little scouse pussy we have now.

Is that okay for you? Now stfu you insignificant, annoying little red ginger.
