2 players short of a decent team imo, i'm not talking ageing journeymen squad fillers - i mean proper players, one a defender who can lead and organise - and a good quality midfield general.

It would be fookin criminal to get relegated for the sake of a few million quid, when you consider the catastrophic effect going down would have on our club.

they were shouting that and it was up to the top left of the stand, gutless faceless sheep. if we do go down they will f.c. off anyway. we countered by singing 'stand up and support the team'. how that encourages the men in white to improve i don't know. a pathetic shout though and one i thought i wouldn't hear. the crowd shouting for a player to come off doesn't help the cause one bit.

 

absolutely right but like has been said, the midfield just isnt functioning and hasn't for a long time- collectively they're too pedestrian, lack ability to cut through teams and aren't hard enough physically IMO. Until LSL sees that and drops his favoured "Untouchables" then we're going to struggle. Defence, shocking as it has been wouldn't look as bad with decent protection (that has been there for the last few years)

agreed we look good going forward but if god forbid it breaks down we are goosed and it's danger time. nolan needs a spell out for me, bsa put him out a while back and he came back stronger. interesting to see what team trots out on wednesday.
