I AM POSTING THIS IN ALL SECTIONS OF THE FORUM, SO TO GAIN MAXIMUM EXPOSURE!

 

One of our regular contributors: Missus C, is currently selling raffle tickets for a local charity event.

The proceeds are for the Bolton Senior Gateway Club for Mentally Handicapped Adults, who provide daycare, weekend activities,transport etc.

Tickets are 50p each, so cheaper than chips!

Prizes include a Christmas Hamper a Wine Hamper and several bottles of various spirits.

We are also awaiting other donations.

The draw will be held at Halliwell Conservative club on Monday the 3rd of December- which coincides with the 10th Annual Beverley Bynoe Ladies Darts Trophy

Payments can be made in person or via paypal at nicola26_128@msn.com, you will then be sent a pm stating your raffle ticket colour/number/serial code.

A list of winners will be posted after the draw.

 

Could I ask you all to consider buying some tickets for what is a very good local cause and if there is anybody out there willing to donate any prizes to help, please don't hesitate to contact either myself or Nic (missus c).

The Gateway Club is a wonderful place, providing activities,education and much needed respite for the parents and carers of handicapped adults.

My uncle has attended Gateway for years and it helps to keep him stimulated,socialised and gives him an element of fun. They,ve just had a Halloween party and we hope to raise money for their Christmas one.

Gateway makes the difference between existing and living.
