Why is it other clubs in the Prem are already play friendlies over the past few days and we don't have one until the 25th and then play at least 7 in 14 days - seems a little bit intense to me?

 

Plus i haven't heard anything about the friendly home fixture. Normally we have at least 1 every season at the Bok before the season begins

 

Are the squad training in Bolton does anyone know over the next week or 2 or have they gone away doing altitude training or to hotter climates to prepare?

Training camps are in Austria and then over to Greece, at the latter they ofcourse play a few friendlies.

Maybe Megson has scheduled later fixtures as thats when he hopes to have the majority of his signings in so they can play together as many times? I suppose its not so much about fixtures and results in pre-season as fitness. Either way, as long as they are prepared for Aug 16th

 

I'm not sure how much money they make or loose for he home friendly but its always nice to have one and perhaps against a more glamorous side than the ones we are playing so far this summer. Last season we had espanyol - someone like that would be good!
