Dzemali To Torino Confirmed

looks like we've seen the last of him

I'm hoping this means that we've got at least a midfielder lined up.... preferably not a defensive one!!

Problem is we never saw any of him

Better have your fingers & toes crossed then.

i cannot believe that we sign a young international from fc zurich, he's at bolton for 15 months before moving onto a serie a club. yet in his time he's only picked for 45 minutes of football! (mccann, by way of comparison has played 45 matches during this time).

emerging from his injury problems this guy surely offered a different option in midfield. i'm disappointed we've let him go - but more so that he's not been replaced.

looks like we're facing life with a midfield containing muamba, j o'brien and mccann, who to me are all the same type of player - of varying degrees of ability. that's ok if you want to line up a brick wall in front of defence, but not ok for trying to break down the might of the west brom defence, when there should only be the need for 1 such player, not 3.

until january our midfield will be far less dynamic & creative and more one-dimensional than even teams that'll be in our 'mini-league' -wigan, wba, boro, fulham...
