seeing as you are frequenting the site a bit - where does the official bus pick up in Walkden?

some family members over from Oz are hoping to hop on it to the match tomorrow.

just says "Walkden" on the timetable.

The bus goes up the A6 from Swinton through Walkden towards Junc 4 of the M61, Smiley. So, if they stand at the bus stop outside the chippy facing Barclays (I think!) and a pub which I think is called the Bull, they can catch it there.

thats right be outside nordex chippy opposite the bulls head between 1.30 and 1.45. or just around the corner opposite the ellesmere centre, bus comes through farnworth first, bus number 8.

if they fancy a bit of culture, move down the A6 to the dun mare(lh), and have the choice of no.s 4 and 8, plus an extra five mins drinking time
