There was the photo of players looking at an orange ball on the front cover in 80/81 and a colour team photo on the front cover in 86/87 but i would have thought sometime in the early 90s before the majority of photographs were in colour.

I think the coach's left from Radcliffe because in them day's they used Mills & Seddons coach's a firm from Radcliffe. Also the people of Radcliffe were whites in them days, now they are all reds.

It's no wonder I left my home town!!

 

When I was at school in Radcliffe generally a mix of Bolton, Bury, City and the Scum. A few glory hunters followed the big teams at the time - Liverpool and Leeds but no mention of Arsenal or Chelsea. When i go and see my folks, find it depressing to see filth shirts walking around town.

 

Mills and Seddon became Tatlock's if I'm not mistaken, based at the bottom of Ainsworth Road - now a car park.

The only ad on the back page of the Middlesbrough programme is for Rutland Mills on Adelaide St.But the back page of the 48/49 Bolton v Man Utd programme does indeed have an ad for Mills and Seddon and the slogan THE TROTTERS USE THEM WHY NOT YOU!
