Bolton manager Gary Megson is eager to bolster his attacking options and has been alerted to the possibility the Red Bull Salzburg striker

 

could be available on loan.

 

Fulham are in pole position although Salzburg are hesitant about letting him go as they struggle to seal a replacement.

 

The 6ft 5in striker has been watched by Celtic and Blackburn in the past year

Call me ignorant but I watched Villa v Rapid Vienna last night and was really impressed, Rapid played football at pace, not as physical at the Prem and not as technical as Italy. They were deserved winners against a Villa side who also impressed on the break but resembled Lancs Amateur League defensively.
