Having watched Wanderers struggle playing what he terms as ?predictable football? the 45-year-old believes his former strike partner will make an immediate impact.

 

?The great thing about Owen Coyle is he has no airs or graces,? he said. ?He?s a down to earth bloke who is completely passionate about what he is doing. That will rub off, and he will drive that club to achieve what he wants it to.

 

?Owen is driven. He wants to be the best he can possibly be at what he does. That goes right back to when we were both players.
