depends on getting Klasnic back asap. Can't knock his workrate but Davies is out of his depth and its showing. It pains me to see a player that have given us so much fall to pieces and he's just goiung to get worse however the refs seem against him!. Just got to hope Elmander can back up Klasnic as at the moment I dont see the purpose of what Elmander is supposed to do?

if we talking workrate alone, elmander is miles ahead of davies on last nights performance.

 

i can certainly see how davies gets down though, the number of free kicks against for next to nothing is scandalous.

might be better for Davies to come off the bench and put himself about against tired defenders, controversial but Id still back Elmander over Davies 1 on 1 with the keeper.

He "scored" the disallowed winner on Saturday

 

He played the superb through ball for Lee to score the winner against Burnley

 

He played the superb through ball for Elmander to miss the sitter that should have been the winning goal against Fulham

 

 

 

Yes he is a shadow of his form from last season but he is still making vital contributions in each game he plays. Just ask the opposition defenders, I bet they would still celebrate if Davies's name goes missing from our starting XI

as much as i think he is struggling in general, i do agree with that.

There is a big difference between discussing the team's weaknesses on a message board and shouting abuse at the players from the stands. I'd rather people do the former than the latter.

Davies has never been a prolific goal scorer and last season was a one-off.

 

What he needs is a prolific goal-scorer alongside. Klasnic offers that far more than the Swedish Stump

I don`t think anyone is slagging off our players, they are just telling it as it is. Owen Colyle has been left with too many players with sub standard ability and it`s showing. Our hearts tell us things are ok, reality says it aint.
