Strange Workplace Scenarios

Featured Replies

Place I used to work at, the boss brought in his Mrs but a couple of tiers down from himself.

Thus he managed his Mrs' boss.

This was a very odd situation. And became a very awkward situation to be in for her boss.

Now I've got another friend in the exact same situation and its already becoming problematic.

Typical things like staff member running to the boss (who is her boyfriend) when not happy about stuff, getting priority on holidays, time off, etc.

Are there laws against this situation - can folk get independent advice on how to deal with issues, etc?

Anyone been in same position with any advice?
