Questions on Spurs game

Its my first game in London since we drew at Arsenal when Gardner got sent off and i've forgotten my way round.

1.Is the Flying Scotsman still open?

2.From euston is it best to get the tube to seven sisters and walk or get the tube to liverpool st and then train to white hart lane?

3.How much is a pint down there?

Featured Replies

1- Yes

2 - white hart lane, unless you want to walk through farnworth after a nuvlear attack

3 - take your own, they water it down with lemonade

Thanks

It seens wise to purchase cans in one of the off licences at Kings X and nip in the FS for one of the shows.

I hope that waiting for a train post match at WHL is not as long as the wait at Horwich.

we walked the best part of a mile to get our train last year, and it was heaving

fortunately 'supplies' had been obtained en route

Also remember that alcohol is not served at half time at Spurs due to request. I don't know which idiot requested that. Also smoking is only allowed when the game is not in progress. Presumably a game of football makes the stand flammable.

I would recommend you catch the tube and get off at Tottenham Hale, then catch the train to Northumberland Park.

Did this last season and had no problems getting on a packed train after the game. It's about a 10 minute walk from the ground and there is a big pub outside northumberland park station called 'The park'

There's a map so you can see how far it is to walk, Northumberland park startion is at the edge of the map on the right. It's not as close as White Hart Lane, but less crowded.

Liverpool st to White Hart Lane was the chosen route with it piddling down.

Very good service going back....stayed cheering the Whites off the pitch and made it back to Kings X in time for 5.45 changing at Seven Sisters.

Must have been 500 people before us in the queue at WHL but a whopping 10 carriage train pulled in...why cant we have that at Horwich?

Spurs fans didnt mind a joke or two at their expense either, good luck to them.
