X box Party mic help

Hello,

can anyone help me before I whizz the lads Xbox out!

his mic doesn’t work on any of his headsets in a party chat.

all the settings are correct the nat is open on the network settings. It’s not muted.
it was working perfectly well then it’s stopped. I bought third pair of a headset the other day it worked fine for a day and it’s done the same. No combination of headset and controller works. They are new controllers too.

when you mute and unmute the headset it registers as though you are talking for a second then stops, you can hear the chat in the headphones but you can’t talk.

tried all the in party toggles with mic monitoring and chat mixer etc etc etc

googled it you tubed it and rubbed with a balloon cannot get it to work at all .

any ideas?
