Wipeout!

 

Just been on the Damned forum. One of the people on there has a friend who's ex-husband took his two daughters to Sri Lanka to celebrate their 18th birthdays. He watched in horror as they both got crushed to death near the beach when the waves hit and demolished a building.

 

The magnitude of the whole event gets greater and greater day-by-day.

Dwight Yorke has urged all the Premiership players to donate a week's wages.

Its in the Telegraph this morning that a woman was struggling to keep her 18 month and 5 year sons afloat after being washed out to sea. She has to make a decision to let one of her sons go, resulting in his certain death, to save herself and the other one. If she keeps both of them they all die.

 

Now thats a decision I certainly wouldn't like to make.

Apparently she let the elder one go. But luckily she found him later, alive. Happy ending.

From the initial post.... the woman running to her family was the waves approached survived, as did her family.
