Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has maintained that an offer of about ?30 million will have to be tabled by any club wishing to acquire the services of Gary Cahill.
The former Burnley boss has acknowledged in the past that it would be difficult to hold on to the defender if an elite club should come calling, following a highly successful season with the Trotters that catapulted the player's status in the Premier League.
"Gary could play for any Premier League club. If someone offers ?30m, you?d probably say that is fair," Coyle said, according to The Sun.
"He is at the top level and that is why it would have to be something like that. It would be wrong if we stood in his way."
Cahill was previously linked with a ?14m move to Arsenal
