I think Everton have a great team but they've had awful luck with injuries. Better than Liverpool but not as good as Spurs and City (purely because they can throw that much money at it, awful 'team').
There's a difference between good signing and good player, time will tell if he's either.
I certainly don't expect him to be taking Robinson's place in the team. I think he'd be eased in and hopefully become the player Coyle must think he can be.
I'm just happy it's a young could be rather than an old has been.
I'd say he's a good signing on the basis that he's young and could potentially be a good player for us. We may be able to sell him for good money. He may still turn out to be a mistake, same goes for any player.
We could buy Andres Iniesta and say he's a great signing because of his past record and what we've seen but it doesn't mean he won't turn up at the Reebok and turn out to be a bag of shite.
Without a doubt, one thing to like about Nugent is that he isn't a sloth, he can run and he isn't Leroy Lita. We need some pace upfront, I'd give him a chance.
That was a separate sentence, didn't mean to make it look like I was claiming that was your source. The article that appeared in The People says it's by Nixon and some other fellow. Just mentioning he supposedly gets his info from Coyle directly.
Are people taking that Riquelme link seriously?
It was a 2 bit piece by David Anderson of the Mirror, he tagged it at the end of an article linking us with Ilan again, who Coyle said he wasn't interested in whatsoever the previous time we were linked, so add it all together and it's certain bullshit.
