  1. Erm strange how the MU v MC is on ITV1. I have ESPN anyway for free as i`m on Virgin, but i`m thinking of other fans who can`t get to Wembley and don`t have ESPN. Stop being so selfish. Idiot
  2. Andy Carroll (how thick does he look, totally gormless) Wayne Rooney Gary Neville Joey Barton Rio Ferdinand (he should get a pair of lips and stop mumbling) John Terry (he must find a decent barbers) Jamie Carragher Steven Gerrard (his hair NEVER grows, odd) Luis Suarez (he needs to get his teeth fixed, surely he can afford it) Scott Parker (overated dwarf) Nani Edwin Van Der Sar (looks like a rat) Phil Neville (just ugly)
  3. The Bolton V Stoke match is not on normal TV, only ESPN, is this true, surely not? Why even bother with the match, just go straight to penalties if we are clogging up the TV stations so much.
  4. Having looked at the weather forecast at the weekend there is possible rain showers on Sunday. Is Rory Delap allowed to use his infamous towel?
  5. As I have heard nothing about it in the national media at all. All I have heard about is the Manchester match. Please can someone comfirm it is actually on Sunday. Thank you
  6. and Scott Parker played for Bolton and USA would Stuart Holden be one of the seven nominated for player of the year? Typical Southern bias. Holden has been consistantly brilliant for us all season, but as West Ham have been fighting relegation all season Scott Parker is hailed as their saviour. Bizarre
  7. It looks very likely that our best two players Gary Cahill and Johan Elmander will be leaving in the summer. Probably unless we get a European spot. But I have noticed on various fans forums and even at the matches the fans different opinions of both players. Elmander seems to be getting a slating, while he has done nothing wrong but actually see out his contract, shock horror, (which is unsual in footballers these days). Is it his fault that Bolton didn`t offer him a longer contract? So as Elmander could be leaving Bolton for a free he is the one getting it from the fans when things don`t go well seemingly forgetting how many goals he has scored for Bolton this season. Maybe if Elmander thought and could hear the fans were actually behind him he might stay, as no one wants to be at a club where they feel they are not wanted. Just a thought fellow Bolton fans. Whereas Gary Cahill would not be committing to his contract with Bolton and his loyalty to Bolton if he left in the summer. And it`s not as if he has come out and denied the rumour talks and said for definate he will be loyal to Bolton and stay. So what is the difference, ok the odd ?20m, but that should not be the point. English players are very overpriced (Andy Carroll for example). So why isn`t Gary Cahill getting the same treatment, afterall he would be leaving for more money just like Elmander but not seeing out his contract.
  8. Ok, we all know Kevin Davies has been a great servant for Bolton, but he is 34 now and surely we must look to a younger and more mobile striker in the Owen Coyle way of playing good football. Kev has only scored 4 goals from open play in the PL this season which really is not good enough for a "first name on the sheet" striker. Lets be honest now, if he wasn`t captain would he automatically get a start every match? Probably not, due to both age and performances. If Gary Cahill wasn`t half way out the club I would make him captain so we would be at least have the option to drop Kev. Personally I don`t understand why Bolton fans have a go at Elmander. Having scored 10 goals from open play this season and always working so hard I dread to think where Bolton would have been in the league without his goals this season and I for one will think we will struggle next season for goals. Whereas Kev had a rest in the week Elmander played 90 minutes for Sweden in the week and still manages a great goal, probably playing on auto-pilot. Sturridge is bound to go back to Chelsea, and Klasnic is an impact player, so my advice to Mr Gartside is to sign Elmander up for another couple of seasons. Kev cannot last forever.
  9. So another England match and it seems we are resigned to the fact that Kevin Davies will only have 20 minutes to show for his England career. We all know he should have been capped many years earlier, but Bolton was a no-no team when it came to England. So I just want to say thank God for Peter Ward who got an almighty 6 minutes of England playing career in 1980. Anyone know if Kevin Davies is the second shortest England career or are there others in between 6 and 20 minutes of England playing time?
  10. Now we are doing well in the PL and F.A cup semi-finalists surely we MUST have nearly 20,000 glory hunter fans if we are to fill our Wembley allocation. Bearing in mind our average PL attendance at the Reebok is 22,194. Anyone dreading being outnumbered and outsung by the Stoke fans?
  11. Did anyone hear the commentator say "And Rooney just slid into Fanni". Classic
  12. Are any other Bolton fans worried after this season about our lack of quality strikers for the next season and beyond? Kevin Davies will be 35, Klasnic is unable to play a full 90 minutes, and definately not two matches a week, Sturridge will go back to Chelsea, and I have it on good authority that Bolton`s top scorer this season, Elmander will be off to Juventus in the summer. Which leaves us with Moreno (if we buy him), Tom Eaves, and Robbie Blake as back up to Kevin Davies and Klasnic. Obviously we hope Coyle will bring in a couple of quality strikers in the summer. Who would you want in and why?
  13. Okay, Daniel Sturridge has a great finish and looks to become a top class player (but probably not at Bolton), but I was sitting with my brother at our last PL match at The Reebok and he said how very easily Sturridge goes down. Unfortunately I had to agree. I hope we don`t become known for this now and going down easily, as I heard later on radio talkshows some Everton fans were saying the same. We have just about let go of out long ball unattractive football and have been getting plaudits for our new style of play it would be a shame if we now get this new tag. Being from Chelsea maybe it`s in Sturridge mindset that if you go down easily you will get the decision. What do other fans think?
