But tomski said the subs "killed the game", which they clearly didn't, as we scored.
They killed the momentum we had at the time..... And we didn't get to apply that kind of sustained pressure again.

I think the point being raised is he could have held the 3 subs back for a few more minutes while we had them on the ropes to see if we could get something.

what a mess
if they come back from this it'll equal the mike riley/leicester game many years ago.
It'll be better because that team had balls.

Never heard that one before.
Anyway, looking at maps, the croal doesn't go that way. Goes under the A666, around where "Toysasaurus" was and comes out on the other side around ⅔ of the way along the pitch, as was.
Didn't realise there used to be a, dinosaur around those parts 😁

He was a poor winner let alone loser. Played 'dogs of war' football and it was the most miserable football played by superstars who were contrained from playing remotely adventurously.
He's also a miserable twat & so far up himself he gagged on it.
Massively expensive, an ego the size of the O2 and now, probably, past it.
Otherwise he be perfect.
His Chelsea team 1st time around was probably the best in the Premier league era for me.

Both great teams.... Brazilian football has regressed somewhat of late.

Certainly are, it's good show and I try to listen every day. Noel Gallagher is always good value and there's always a guest phones in with an amazing story. did you hear the one tonight the ex non league player ending up in Brazil in an exhibition match with in 1981 with his non league team. Watched on TV by 40 million. Bonkers. Some of the players were from the Brazil 1982 team. Best international team not to win the World Cup. Probably the best ever anyway from my memories of them.
Still the 1970 team for me..... Imperious.
