Pushing Sheehan forward is an absolute no no, no other player can play that role, especially not GT (as proven earlier in the year).
We don’t have a 10, so playing Collins in midfield would essentially give us 1 less midfielder and Sheehan and GT would be pulled all over the place!
There will be changes but I can guarantee that Sheehan will play exactly where he has for the last 25 games and neither Collins nor CMG will be in midfield.
I would agree with a lot of what you say, but the return of Santos would make Sheehan less influential. No Santos you leave Sheehan were he is. The only pace we have upfront at the moment is Vic who does not warrant a start. Bod, Collins and Gomes lack real pace but all have a football brain and can play in the number 10 or the false 9 which Evatt played Gomes tonight
Gomes played at the top of a spear head in midfield tonight as Evatt said in the post match interview
Guess that is why you are also not a Manager.

Goalkeeping position is not fine.....Keeper who simply cannot play what Evatt wants him to do.
Not let anyone down simply not a ball playing Goalkeeper.
Defence is the same.........Nobody taking the ball from the keepers feet resulting in mistake after mistake at the back
You cannot concede three against teams like Charlton and say Defence options are fine.
We have indeed got a strong squad but the complete spine is out and that would effect any team.
Hopefully Santos returns asap and a starting spot is found for Forester simply the best centre half at the club after Santos and Johnston

Was only Friday On the EFL podcast Evatt said we have to make plan A better. Colman simply does not play the ball out like Baxter and we have no player who comes short for the ball like Santos does.
Saturday Evatt has no option with the players available to rip that up and go 4,4, 1
Until Santos and Baxter return we should keep this system. Maghoma was brought in as a holding midfielder and can take Thomasons spot freeing a role for Gomes. Collins has to start with Charles/bod up top.

Evatt lives and dies by the team he puts out each week. This close season he said Firepower cost us last season and he would change that, what did he do re-sign the same forwards.
His four biggest signings are Collins700k Ade boyejo 500k Nludlulu 500k and Charles 400k. None started today[yes i get 2 are out injured]
We simply are too predictable. Only the fact this is a poor league is the reason we are doing well.
We are not going to change the system because he believes in it so i for me i will continually back him and the team.
For me i will back him until May and if we dont get promoted the board should look again.
