Police usually close Bramall Lane about 1:30/2pm so would suggest getting the car parked in there before then. Decent pint and food in the bar at the hotel too.
-
None in centre, but if your coming in via the Woodhead then that route should take you past one in Hillsborough.
-
Reckon the club might give you a call like with others. Out of curiosity, which stand you opt for?
-
Cavendish very much still there, and still very geared towards students.
-
Miss the day of the proper floodlights, the football fans equivalent of the north star.
-
Ideal then that car park. Turn left out of the car park and under the subway to the ground.
-
There are no 'official' car parks but there is plenty of street parking, if you get there early. Although your best bet is the big charity run car park behind the Decathlon store, just off St Marys roundabout (post code S1 3HU) - £4, secure and less than 5 minutes walk to the ground.

Remember that game - who was that little right winger you had? Remember him tearing us a new one.

'Collection cups' - is that what you lot call 'mouths' on that side of the Pennines?

https://www.s24su.com/forum/index.php?threads/away-end-lower-tier-bolton-match.52561/page-2 The picture half way down the page on the above link should show the extent of the segregation on the upper tier, and the unsold tickets on the lower.
-
There were about 2000 unsold away tickets on the lower tier alone. The we have about 2000 seats with netting over for segregation due to past incidents. No need to bullshit, just need to look at official figures over the past 6 years in this shithouse of a league. Otter Skin you say...

I only know the Clubhouse as the Scholar, but its still there, as is the Cremone - with both of them being on London Road, a very much home fans stretch of pubs, I think they can get picky about who they let in. Cremone the better bet.

Nice try

To be fair there's now only 1 or 2 pubs close to the Lane that have a 'No away fans' policy thankfully. So whereever you stumble across should be fine. Hillsborough is a shit hole - best letting them drink there anyway!

Yeah the graduate is in Theatre Square, again popular with away fans - heavy police presence and not sure you'd get a table if wanting to get food. The Graduate is close to the main centre, and if you wanted there are loads of good bars on Division Street (15 min walk, £4 taxi, from the station). The Common Room is excellent, TV screen everywhere you turn, 20+ american pool tables and excellent grub. Division Street is only 10 minutes steady walk from the ground too) and ou could call here https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186364-d1065751-Reviews-The_Devonshire_Cat-Sheffield_South_Yorkshire_England.html.

The pub about 100 yards up from the station is an allocated away fans pub and serves food, although never eaten there - http://www.sheffieldpub.co.uk/pubs/city-centre/howard-hotel/ Further up the hill there is The Globe - typical bar food, multi-screen for sports etc. http://www.greatukpubs.co.uk/theglobesheffield Then there is the Rutland Arms - recommended if you're a real ale fan and serves hearty home cooked pub food. http://www.therutlandarmssheffield.co.uk/ All three within 5 minutes of the station, further 10 minutes to the ground. The pub within the train station (The Sheffield Tap) is again ideal for real ale drinkers, but doesn't serve food, however is worth a visit.

Yeah - they were devoid of attacking threat, they scored via a badly deflected cross and poor marking. In the first half our keeper touched the ball twice. That Josh Morris went missing for 90 minutes, and unfortunately we had a Prem referree gracing us with his presence and the flow of the game was lost with constant petty fouls.

We've been playing well, but a few frustrating results have tempered the winning run. We battered Scunthorpe on Saturday - but we have struggled at times to break down teams at home, they often come and camp 10 men at the edge of their box and it takes an almost perfect goal to register. Scunthorpe going down to 10 men was the worst thing that could have happened, any idea of them attacking and opening up ended. With Mike Dean and Gary Madine on the pitch I wouldn't rule out a red card this Saturday either! Didn't Spearing get carded for belting ball into the crowd?! Fine by us, but frustrating for you lot. Is that an official bid for Sharp?

The reason it was 5k below official capacity is because of unsold away tickets and ridiculous segregation restrictions placed on us by SYP. Wouldn't advise buying tickets in our end though, never ends well for any party. Its a sad state that fans cant mingle in today's society but sad truth is that the likelihood is there'll be trouble. Anyhow - how are you lot playing, seemed to be a game of two halfs for you lot at Bradford? I see that quite a few of your fans place a lot of emphasis on your two victories over us this season - however we are a shadow of the team on the opening day (new system, new players, all gelled), and in the cup we basically fielded a second 11. Reckon you will ask more questions of our defence than Scunthorpe did (it wont be hard), and this is definitely the bigger game of the two for us.
