Carlisle looked pretty useful when they beat us 3-1 at home in October.
Flash st school would look decent playing us ffs

I hope yous all realise that we'll get absolutely NO recognition for finishing 3rd, last season it was all about Sheffield Wednesday, this & Sheffield Wednesday that, ,,,, well forget any of that it'll be us against the rest as normal.
-
Just watching QPR v Preston.
2 sides we should be finishing above next season, and looking at the quality on show i don't think we have owt to fear there like.
Noted that the walk out anthem was good though, London calling by the Clash. Nice touch.

It'll be interesting to see if Collins & Charles can work together.Â
Guess that's a NO then? 🤔

Remember watching a documentary on the early days of Dave Courtney, that was one of his speciality jobs, clearing properties of undesirables.

Just get a bigger Alfa, if you're happy with them (a lot of people are) then nothing else comes close for looks or style.
And you would get a stunning Giulia for 20k

I’ve woken up even more pissed off than I was last night.Â
ÂSeason pretty much over and it was in the palm of our hands last Saturday morning.Â
I still felt pretty good after last Saturday, we'd played well and given the league champs a great game, but today feels a bit like after the Barnsley at home play off game, you just knew, knew how it was all a bit too much to ask.
-
Never mind the next 2 league games, they are irrelevant, ok (win at home lose at posh) but the play offs, where are the goals gonna come from?
Collins? Hopefully.
Dion Charles? Doubt it.
Jarome? Leave it out.
So its up to the rest then, will a hero emerge???

I wouldn’t be surprised if he walked before he was pushed should we fail to go up.
Son in law said last night, do you think they will sack him if they don't go up?
My answer was , well not Sack sack, but he will be encouraged to maybe move on.
-
He's probably just realised that he's on a hiding to nothing, fail to go up and I'm afraid his days are numbered-, manage to somehow win the play offs and i think he's realised he would be back to square 1, where he looked way out of his depth and he's maybe not up for the pressure again.

Yes I was surprised how poor Forrester was tonight, he has nowhere near the forward capability Gethin has and JDC looks half the player without it but he was just dreadful and Iredale not much better.Â
Agreed, Toal had to cover both their positions as Forrester looked terrified.

This club has won the Noble Prize for Charity so many times the said we could keep it.

I like it, it was never meant as a stadium anthem and the lad probably wrote it in 10 mins.
Good effort.

always fancied White Riot by The Clash, but again probably too political. Chorus alone would be ok
Its all irrelevant anyway due to our crap PA system.
First time i ever went to old Trafford well over 40 years ago , the first thing that struck me was how good their sound system was, maybe coz ours was what they were throwing out at the Bolton Palais in 1949.
-
Pure Morning by Placebo is pumped up and kind of menacing and sinister, maybe what we need.
-
Needs to be a unique and tongue in cheek chant that will catch on with all sides of the arena.
Back in the 70s (hear me out) the Swan cellar had a niche clientele and they would always play "Back in the night" by Dr Feelgood, now they had no Bolton connection but its a great bouncy song and the whole of the Swan used to chant "I'm a sausage roll, I'm a sausage roll" during the chorus. Trust me it was infectious and would deffo be a unique cult thing at BWFC.

Was listening to the radio yesterday when this came on.
Was also thinking about today's game, and all I could imagine was our Irish contingent dancing a jig after scoring and thousands of mad limbs doing likewise.
Been an ear worm ever since.

You're right, he supports Utd.

Son in law booked prem inn for last season and flogged it online to a Sheffield wednesday fan for a profit.
-
So, Final.
Would you go???
Its all business no pleasure and the disappointment is massive.
Its costly too.
I'm not sure.🤔
