I always struggle to pick a team with our current players, we have two men for every position but our squad doesn't seem to fit Evatt's usual formation. I'm going to throw a few options out, please pull them to pieces as you see fit. Trafford Jones Toal Santos John Sadlier Bradley Sheehan Afolayen Lee Striker (any) Or if we must play 3 at the back Santos Toal Johnston Sadlier Bradley Sheehan Dempsey Afolayen Charles Bodvarsson You'll notice I'm getting Sadlier in a wing position with Bradley in a Mcateer role. I'm keeping Dapo in his best position. Thoughts?

Thing is, I wasn't talking about all long balls, some are forced, I agree with you there. However, I was referring to the number of completely unforced, and unnecessary long balls.

I think Sadlier puts in way more dangerous crosses than any other player. Not sure why we would shop window him. Bradley will be gone in the summer, looks like John will be going (I like him though) and Sadlier can play about 4 positions and score.

Hi guys, my first post here so here goes. I'll jump straight to the matter at hand. I felt that we played too much long ball against Derby and we seem to have lost that edge, that beautiful passing football that we came to love last season seems to have evaporated. It's become a bit of nice play followed by lots of rushing about and aimless kicking forward. Charles is a huge frustration for me, and not just his missing of chances. He chases and chases but it's no good if he can't control the ball or turns into a man whenever he has it. He always ends up battling for possession that he already had, flailing his arms, invariably ending up on the floor. Does anyone else see this? As for our best eleven, it's really hard to pick. What are your thoughts folks?
