Thanks from Darcy Lever FC

Just thought i'd post to say a HUGE thanks to the football lads at WW.

A Great game of football played today and a great training exercise for us.

We will def have to do it again in the summer as a pre season friendly,

the result today was good from our point as it raises confidence again and its now 2 wins out of two this year for us.

so once again thanks for the game and good luck if you do decide to join our league next season!

Cheers for that, as you say we'll defo sort out another match in the near future and hopefully we'll get abit more orgnised.

BTW my leg should be ok by then so I will be seeking revenge on that little sh??t who two footed challenged me thus taking me out of the game in the 1st half.

How did the ref not see that?

I think he was on his mobile.

Top quote from Carlos as I lay in agony "you'd better go off before you're forced to go off"

:D

Oh and I also require new shin pads as my hardened pastic ones are cracked.

Cheers for the match lads. Quality was in abundance early on and we should have been a couple in front. After that organisation, team spirit and fitness proved too much for us old timers! We use this as an excuse every time, so its about time we got it sorted. I think we would definitely give you a proper run for your money next time.

As for my reckless tackle on SB (your third goalscorer) - hope he didn't take it personal! I let him score your last as a make-weight. Honest!

Good luck lads.

who did it Jay? which lad?

I will have words. As for fitness we did shine through in the final third BUT should have scored a few more than we did. Your Goalkeeper made some superb saves, can we 'nick' him from you... heh hee.

Smiley SB is okay with it no worries on that, we get him harder than that at training....he deserves it sometimes..

Any way nice one lads, and good luck in future games....apart from the next one v's us!!!

I honestly couldn't tell you mate as I was too busy rolling about in agony but I'm sure he'll admit to it.

Think it was no7? Was the refs fault for letting pretty much everything go, it all got out of hand and someone could have got hurt.

That's why I don't like playing Sunday league, only takes one bad tackle...
