There were some (admittedly less rotund) blokes waving the flags before kick-off, but I didn't notice them running the line. I look out for them these days because at the end of last season I said out loud before the game "Why doesn't that fat bastard hold his flag up off the ground?" At which point some chubby ten year old in front of me turns and says "That's my dad".

 

And James Brown was still around, I'm afraid.
