Do we need to remove all software that we used for our previous broadband provider? I removed all my ex isp software and security first. the disc will then take you through all the steps to connect your wireless box and then install the sky software and security, took about 10 mins in all. i can send my 3 year old daughter round to do it for you if you want!!!!!

October 5, 200619 yr i tried to connect on 27th Sept and its not working. Sky say that the Bolton exchange is cream crackered!Anybody else having trouble?? I think that Sky broadband uses the BT local network so they are fobbing you off, other ISP's seem to be ok.
October 5, 200619 yr I think that Sky broadband uses the BT local network so they are fobbing you off, other ISP's seem to be ok. aye but i think its all about this LLU system (local loop unbundling) which gives you twice the speed. I think they have to literally unplug you from the normal BT box and plug you in to a new one. I am led to believe the problem is with BT who are in charge of the sky connections. The company name is is easynet (not sky)
October 5, 200619 yr Author if its any consolation, once we got connected (2 weeks after our 'connection date' ) sky broadbands been faultless. touch wood.
