At Buxton i'm guessing that there about 18-20 different obstacles, which get progressive harder and bigger. Plus there are some pretty good zip wires at the end of some of the obstacles to take you to the next check-point. However there can only ever be 2-3 people on a obstacles at a time so its not as if you are rushing over them. Prepare to spend some time waiting for your turn (5 mins usually). There is a limit as to how many people are on the site at once too. Last time we went was a weekend and it was pretty busy, took about 3 hours to get round. You will need to book in advance. Its worth a look if you are wanting to do something a bit different. Plus the buxton one is v near town and plenty of boozers.

Who's paying for you?

Been to the one in the Lake District a few years ago.

Was a good do but we all had a stinking hangovers, so being 30 foot up in the air and swinging about wasn't a good mix. :bad:

It takes a couple of hours to complete so good value for money. They do breathalise you before you start so avoid having a beer before.

no game this weekend then i take it?

Top notch day out. Got there about 9ish, our session was booked for 9.30am. Did the induction bit - which included signing your life away. Very, very safety conscious - they have to be, cos once you are up there, your in charge of your own fate. Think we finished just before 1pm. It p1ssed down all day - but didn't really affect the experience at all.

Would recommend it for groups and families. But it was pretty difficult taking three kids, 1 at 10 and 2 at 11. They were okay age and size wise, but you have to double-check a lot of what they are doing - and when you're so high up it becomes tricky. Personally I think they need to raise the age limit to about 14 or something like that.

Some of it is quite strenuous - the larger tarzan swing is mad - flinging yourself into this giant cargo net and then having to clamber up it to the next platform.

I'd definitely go again and recommend it to all.
