Does anybody else think we should be looking to sign another center-back?, Right-back? or Roger Black?

We probably do need another center back and a new right back. But I don't think It'll be the end of the world if it doesn't happen.

After watching the peace cup I thought we were going to be dire at the back. But we weren't that bad against espanyol. Sinclair seems like he could step up and make right back his own.

agree apart from sinclair looks lost to me cant see him getting much action

I've said it before and I'll say it again .... the current back-four is at least 2 experienced players short. Consider :-

RB : injury-prone Hunt, not-played-for-a-year midfielder O'Brien, and inexperienced (ex-forward?) Sinclair.

CB : Inexperienced Michalik, new Cid, ANC-bound Meite & Faye (who is also a defensive midfielder).

LB : new Samuel, and injury-prone Gardner.

That doesn't look like a defence squad that will see us safely through the season, or even till the January tranfer window. And it certainly won't frighten many Premiership forward lines. Then we start to look at injuries, loss of form, suspensions ....

But I'm sure LSL has it all under control.

Hunt is a far better right back than Campo, and faster as well. Gardner is a great left back when fully fit. I'm not convinced about JLloydSam, he will have to improve a hell of a lot on his Bolton performances, I will give him the benefit of the doubt so far because he needs to settle in and he may not yet be match fit.

I like Meite he is usually solid. I don't think Sammy has decided on his partner yet. I think we all have have high hopes for Cid. I know Fujot doesn't come into the reckoning yet but I have seen him a few times and I am impressed.
