I dont know, it's hard to know how who we could have signed... How much money was available? If we were gonna spend money before Anelka's sale then surely we have a good chunk of that left? Just seems like they had no Plan B until a few hours ago and it might end up costing us more than paying an over-inflated transfer fee...

I appreciate what you're saying and no i dont think he has done fook all but in the end frank, unless we sign a better striker, we've ended up with a striker who cant even get in a championship side's 1st team... I dont care if Megson / Gartside spent all the time they had on searching for somewone else... the fact that they couldn't get somebody either means they lack the ambition or have no influence... and that is not good enough for me... maybe im wrong
