So explain why clubs make more money from SKY than they do through the turnstyle?

Stop sulking, and support the club. I get so sick of the 'I was there in 58' brigade who think they own the club. You don't and you have no more say than the johnny come lately.

 

Because Sky make a fortune from selling subscriptions on the back of the football...fairly simple really. They may well be a loss-leader all in all, but there you go.

 

But if you think Sky would pay as much for crowd-less games, if you think it's just 22 men kicking a ball about that constitutes the 'product', you are as stupid as...you seem.

NO! It is OUR club. Ours and the 33 who died at the Embankment end. Ours and all those heroes of 3 Cup Final victories in the 20's who have left us now. Ours and the tens of thousands of cotton mill workers who graced Burndens terraces. Ours and the 1958 boys who smashed our most hated rival.
