Probably no-one's that interested or that bothered, but did anyone see the Times or Independent sports sections today ?

Independent match report headline : "United cut down on day of the assassin". Think they mean Big Kev D : "series of cynical assaults on Patrice Evra". Nasty stuff, and I don't mean hero Big Kev.

The Times timed (how appropriate) every Bolton free-kick, goal-kick & throw-in during the last 20 mins, concluding that we "wasted" 7 minutes and 1 second. Who knows how long these things take when time isn't being wasted anyhow ! Of course, we all know that only Bolton waste time - you know, Arses favourite mantra.

So, it wasn't only BSA they didn't like then. :nea:

Very true, Satan.

But I e-mailed and told 'em what cretinous big-club a*se-lickers they are anyway. Politely, of course.

They need reminding now & then.

<_<

There was an article in The Times last week saying it was ridiculous the stick that we got for our style of play, when you (with Beckham and Gerrard trying to out-Hollywood each other) could say England were as direct as we are and yet don't get pulled apart for it.

So not all blinkered on there. And a good report in the Observer on Sunday too.

united were very direct on saturday, i lost cost of the number of long punts upfield.

the report in the news of the world gave the truest report i saw

"Evra was lucky to still be on the pitch by half time"

Because of the number of fouls he had committed?

Or because he was lucky KD hadn't crippled him?

To be fair to the press generally all the reports I read on Sunday gave a fair assessment.

So its our fault that their shots in the last 20 minutes never troubled Jussi and went high wide and into the crowd running the clock down - Of course it is.
